Colombian physicist and scientist recognized as one of the fathers of STI policies: science, technology and innovation in Colombia and co-founder of Maloka. He is currently director of the International Physics Center, Emeritus Professor of the National University of Colombia, president of the ACAC and of the Board of Maloka (2012). Among the different contributions for which he is known are his work on managing Science and Technology policies in Colombia and his work on low temperatures, cryogenesis and superconductivity, developed both in Europe and at the International Physics Center.
